DoomDaWiz is a Cape Verdean hip-hop producer, audio engineer, multimedia creator, and founder of Wizcraft Studios. Known as The Boom Bap Architect, he has dedicated his career to designing authentic boom bap music built on hard drums, soulful samples, and timeless hip-hop principles.

Originally stepping into the culture as an emcee before evolving into a producer and engineer, DoomDaWiz developed a deep respect for the craft of record-making. His approach combines the grit of hip-hop’s golden era with the precision of a master builder, creating music that is both classic and enduring.

A defining influence on his journey was legendary hip-hop artist Grand Daddy I.U., who served as both a mentor and source of inspiration. Under that guidance, DoomDaWiz strengthened his understanding of lyricism, production, and the importance of preserving the authenticity of the culture.

Over the years, DoomDaWiz has worked with and produced for an impressive roster of hip-hop legends and respected artists, including Canibus, Ruste Juxx, Grandmaster Caz, K-Solo, PMD, El Da Sensei, Large Professor, Ed O.G., Sadat X, and many more artists who have helped shape hip-hop culture across generations.

His discography includes projects such as Funky Dope Producer, Blunts, Bass, Beats, Methadone Muzic, Da Playground, and MPC Scriptures, showcasing his commitment to preserving the foundation of boom bap while continuing to evolve as a creator.

Today, from his base in Northern California, DoomDaWiz continues to build music, mentor artists, engineer records, and contribute to hip-hop culture through production, multimedia, and creative entrepreneurship.
